เรื่อง  The destroying of Sisaket’s Ruins

A combination of sewage, salt, air pollution, sun, sand and wind may destroy the huge statue in Sisaket, such as Prasart Sra Kampaeng Yai Ruins in Uthumporpisai District.  It is more than two thousands years old but it is too badly damaged to be completely saved. The ruins has been dug out of the ground.  However the latest problem much more serious.  First there is water.  What much water cover the passage around the ruins in the rainy season every year.  Secondly, air pollution from the increasing of the traffic around there is also destroying the ancient statue.  The air is so full of poisonous gases that it is making the stone crumble and decay even faster.  Finally, the people who visit the ruins every day also cause a lot of damage.
